This idea looked at how to unlock the often unrecognised potential in young people who are at risk of commiting crime/ anti social behaviour. The idea of a dragon’s den format in which young people who have shown themselves to be talented in a self-taught or informally learned discipline are invited to access unique mentoring opportunities. We match the young people with the most open minded and life-experienced CEOs who are willing to work with them to unlock and develop latent talent for future good.

This idea was around matching employers with new graduates in order to create more formalised work placement opportunities and recruitment pools. The premise was to enable young people to try something out for a while – to check out a number of different possible career paths in a more formalised way before embarking on the usaul rounds of graduate recruitment.
